We regard ourselves not only as a manufacturer and supplier of innovative stabilizing systems, but above all as an initiator of novel end products in keeping with the trend which can only achieve success through close cooperation with our customers. We employ a growing number of food technologists and applications experts whose daily task it is to develop highly efficient and cost-effective systems for better foods from a combination of single ingredients.
On an area of nearly 300 square metres, our Technology Centre in Kaltenkirchen offers space for creativity and innovations that enhance our customers’ products or make them possible at all. In our technical trials department with applications laboratories for all manner of different foods, our food technologists and process technicians devote themselves to developing and optimizing stabilizing systems for dairy products, delicatessen, baked goods, baby food and sports products. Short routes and a marked readiness for dialogue speed up the creation of tailor-made solutions whose effects we adjust precisely to our customers’ wishes with the aid of extensive tests on our different pilot plants. And it goes without saying that we can simulate real production conditions and take them into account.

I am an engineer for fat technology, technology of essential oils, perfumery and cosmetic products and one of the people responsible for the development of our products and their optimal application. Before we work out a formulation, choose raw materials and specify machine settings, we ask the customer exactly what requirements and ideas he has. The production conditions at his facility play a role in our development work, too. If all those concerned are satisfied after sampling and tasting, we help with scaling up production from the initial trials on the pilot plant to full-scale industrial production. What motivates me in my daily work? In particular the challenge that every project is different, which means that we have to adjust each of our concepts to the individual customer.
